As we reported yesterday, David Blaine participated in the annual New York Cares Coat Drive in Bryant Park. Numerous outlets have reported on the event bring attention to the homeless through the participation of the magician.

New York Post Blaine stood in just a T-shirt and slacks in the 15-degree cold, collecting coats and autographing his custom playing cards for the fundraising event. But when asked to do some magic by those donating coats he apologised and said his hands were too cold. Blaine said: "If you really want to understand why the Coat Drive is important, try standing outside for an hour without a coat."
