According to the Las Vegas Sun, Rumors are that magician Steve Wyrick closed his theater at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile without mall operators knowing. Many of his large props remain, but he loaded everything else. His dancers were crying when they showed up for last night’s performances expecting to get three weeks of back pay and found the doors locked. It’s also the unexpected ending of The Coasters and The Platters shows there. The Fox5Vegas.com reports says, "Wyrick, who was set to perform last night at his theater inside Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops, never took the stage. FOX5 attempted to contact the magician, but our calls were not returned. It’s unknown many people worked for Wyrick or when they were notified the show was closing. Wyrick’s run at the property began in 2007 at the $35 million theater that bears his name." So far, there has been no official statement from Wyrick or his representatives."  Our friends at iTricks posted the first image of the sign closing the theater. Wyrick opened the $35 Million theater which bears his name in 2007.   My calls to Steve and his representatives have yet to be returned.
