We all know that after his death in March of this year, Ali Bongo's huge library of books and his collection of apparatus were given to the Magic Circle of which he was the President. Veteran magician Ali Bongo left £550,197 (approx $904,000 US) in his will and a string of legacies to help other performers. Bongo who was president of the Magic Circle at the time of his death also left (pounds) 10,000 to the International Brotherhood of Magicians British Ring to hold a special gala show at its annual convention. Other legacies included gifts of (pounds) 10,000 each to the Entertainment Artistes Benevolent Fund and The Magic Circle Endowment Fund which gives grants to performers.
