According to KMBC, a young magician was shot in the head after leaving the Pizza Parlor where he regularly performs:
Three teenagers were taken into custody in connection with a shooting late Tuesday night in Waldo, police said.
After the man was shot, he called police, who said the man was conscious and able to talk with them when they first arrived. The man’s injuries were determined to be significant, and he was taken to the hospital, where he is in serious condition, police said.
KMBC's Peggy Breit reported that the victim is a magician who entertained customers once a week at Waldo Pizza. "Eric the Magician" is known for throwing playing cards and making them stick to the ceiling.
