ARTURO BRACHETTI REVEALS ALL
Arturo Brachetti and his new show "Change" get the royal treatment in an article from the Times Online entitled "Change for the Better."
Quick-change and magic were ways for “a shy boy who was bad at football to prove I was good at something”, he says. “Most magicians are nerds who practise in front of a mirror. It’s just you and the mirror. Then you do it for your family and friends, and people say, ‘Wow, how did you do that?’ You become rewarded for this nerdish pursuit.”
The puzzle-solving element of magic also attracted Brachetti: “You have an idea, then you find a way to do it. For instance, I knew I could change costumes fast, so then I found a way to change the colour of a suit.”
