ALBERT CADABRA TALKS TO DIGITAL CITY

Albert Cadabra is turning 40 tomorrow. To celebrate, the NY based Ripley's outside talker, magician and entertainer is staging a show at the Slipper Room and Digital City decided to profile him in honor of the event.

What's the Skullduggery & Skin Show?
It's a very high energy burlesque/vaudeville/variety show with a cool name. I put the show together with the help of my partner/lover/pal Gal Friday. It has everything, magic illusions, slight of hand tricks, sideshow stunts, burlesque and striptease and of course, Ruby the Wonder Dog!

It's a total white knuckle ride of a show. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll shit your pants!

What's your gig at Ripley's? 
I'm a ballyman. An outside talker! I do a 10-15min show out in front of Ripley's for free. This of course draws a big crowd and then right before I do the big stunt, which could be anything from the blockhead to doing an inverted straight jacket escape, I tell them how awesome Ripley's museum is and a little about what they'll see on the inside.
