CELEBRATING THE MAGIC OF TONY CURTIS

On June 13th, the Jules Verne Festival and the Los Angeles Historic Theatre Foundation will present The Magic Of Tony Curtis. The goal of the event is to revive the Golden Age of glamour and entertainment in downtown Los Angeles with a series of star studded screenings including the 1953 classic Houdini and Some Like it Hot, both starring Tony Curtis. Live, just before the screening of Houdini, escape artist Curtis Lovell will perform a tribute to the Houdini Water Torture Escape. The Magic of Tony Curtis is the fourth installment in the once-in-a-lifetime series of “Jules Verne Legendaire Awards" which have previously featured such films as Blade Runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.
