STEVENS VS FARQUHAR... OR IS IT?

There has been a debate raging among magicians since Shawn Farquhar was awarded the Grand Prix in close-up magic at FISM in Beijing. It all picked up steam after lengthy posts by Russ Stevens at the MagicCafe and the Genii Forums implying that Shawn's act was based on his own routine. Others posted articles with similar opinions. Is it copying or are they both just using the same song?  I think the answer is obvious and makes the discussion moot,  but see what you think.
