ERIC DECAMPS HONORED AS DEAN OF SAM PARENT ASSEMBLY #1

After a lovely phone call from my Friend Eric DeCamps last night, I received the following press release and photos to share with our readers:

On Friday evening, over 220 magicians and guests braved torrential rains and packed the Goldwurm Auditorium on Madison Avenue in NYC to celebrate Eric DeCamps being officially inducted as the new Dean of the Society of American Magicians, Parent Assembly # 1.
 
After a moving induction ceremony, an impressive list of magical performers took the stage for a marvelous fast paced and well rounded magic show. The artists who performed were: Bob Fitch, Meir Yedid, George Schindler, David Corsaro, Margaret Steele, Alan “Ace” Greenberg, Steve Rodman, Thomas Gaudette, Michael Miller, George Saterial, Marc DeSouza & Mark Mitton.
 
At the end of the amazing night, when asked what he was doing next, DeCamps said, “ I’m going to Disney World… no only kidding. I’m actually going to the world famous Hollywood, Magic Castle! It’s a one night performance only so don’t forget to join me there on Sunday September 27.”
