BROKEN WAND :: MILT LARSEN

Yet another wand is broken with the passing of Milt Larsen, Co-Founder of The Magic Castle in Hollywood at the age of 92. In addition to being one of magic's biggest fans, Milt also wrote songs with Oscar winner Richard Sherman and worked on the legendary game show 'Truth or Consequences.' It seems that every time that I turn around another of the legendary figures of magic has passed on. I was very fortunate to have the pleasure of haveing Milt as a guest on the Magic Newswire's Spirit of Magic Podcast more than once. He discussed his experiences as the founder of one of the most magical places on Earth, his love of magic, and much more. Milt was one of the good ones. Passionate about magic and more important to the history of our craft than many may realize. Go easy my friend. You will be missed.
